Charmion Performing Arts Center

The Charmion Performing Arts Center, located at 400 ½ N. Court Street in Circleville, opened in August of 2008. The Center is pleased to offer dance classes by eight wonderful instructors from Pickaway, Ross, and Franklin County. Virginia Prior has been in the dance field for years and has played an integral part in setting up the curriculum. Other talented instructors include Louisa Heyer, Julie Jordan, Tahrea Maynard, Jennifer Scherer, Tammi Strawser, Brenda Darling, and Ryan Driscoll.

The Charmion Center is pleased to introduce Ryan Driscoll to Circleville for the first time. He placed among the top 3 for 5 years at the North American Irish Dance Championships, while also ranking among the top 10 male Irish dancers at the World Irish Dance Championships.

Children can choose between Tap, Ballet, Irish Step, Street Jazz, Musical Theater, Ballroom, Cheer & Tumbling, and Kinderdance. The Center features a state of the art facility with a sprung dance floor and comfortable waiting area where parents can watch the classes from closed circuit televisions.
