Brooke Riddle, 17, Amanda-Clearcreek High School junior - Brooke is the daughter of Margaret and Rex Riddle Jr. of Stoutsville.

At Amanda-Clearcreek, she is involved in volleyball, softball, drama club, student council, Fellowship of Christian Students and Athletes, Teen Institute, and Varsity Club.

After high school she said she plans to attend a nursing school in Ohio and later become a pediatric nurse at Children's Hospital.

What does Riddle like about the Pumpkin Show? "First of all, the Circleville Pumpkin Show is the greatest free show on Earth! Not only are there rides, games and entertainment, but also there are pageants, contests of skill in baking, art, and textiles. All of this spells opportunities to really build a community and to draw people to our area to see that this area is growing while still maintaining small town charm."

About being excited to represent her school, Riddle said the following: "I feel it is a great honor that my peers have selected me as a representative. I am looking forward to getting on stage and representing my junior class and also my school as best I can."
