Dawn Ward, 17, Amanda-Clearcreek High School senior - Dawn is the daughter of Jim and Vicki Ward of Amanda.

At Amanda-Clearcreek, she is involved in softball, volleyball, and student council. She is her class secretary, secretary of the science club, a member of Teen Institute and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

After high school, Dawn plans to attend college majoring in psychology. She would also like to continue participating in softball and volleyball on the college level.

What does Ward enjoy about the Pumpkin Show? "It may sound very ordinary, but what I enjoy most is the aura of hometown tradition and the happy sounds of families and friends socializing and having a good time."

As for being selected to represent her school, Ward said the following: "I feel extremely honored and very privileged. I couldn't be more excited; I want to represent Amanda-Clearcreek High School and community to the best of my ability."
