Julie Sowers, 16, Teays Valley High School junior - Julie is the daughter of Ron and Karen Sowers of Ashville.

At Teays Valley she is the communication director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Key Club, a member of student council, varsity soccer, varsity track, and 4-H.

After high school, Sowers said she hopes to attend the University of Cincinnati or Miami University and major in architecture or International business.

What does Sowers like about Pumpkin Show? "I love the traditions of the Pumpkin Show, the many different pumpkin foods, and most off all, spending time there with my friends."

About being selected to represent her school, Sowers said the following: "I am very excited to have the chance to represent my class. Thank you Teays Valley, especially to the Class of 2001.
