Brittany Lafuse, 16, Westfall High School junior - Brittany is
the daughter of Jeffrey Lafuse of Mount Sterling and the late Brenda
Lafuse.
At Westfall, she is a three-year member of student council, junior
class president, and varsity football and basketball cheerleader. She
has been involved in dance team and competition squads along with
football and basketball cheerleading for six years. She is a member of
the yearbook staff and she is active in Renaissance. She has been
involved with the spring musicals for the past four years and she is
president of choir. She is president of her 4-H club, has been active in
livestock projects for the past nine years and she has served as an
officer for five years. She is also a member of the Pickaway County
Junior Fair Board.
After high school, Lafuse said she plans to go to college. Her focus
has been on psychology and she would like to get her doctorate degree in
that field.
What does Lafuse like about Pumpkin Show? "The atmosphere at the
Pumpkin Show is so exciting because it attracts so many from all over.
The people have to be the best part about the whole program. There are
all different kinds of people from all around.
About being selected to represent her school, Lafuse said the
following: "It is one of the greatest honors I have ever been given.
Westfall has given by a wonderful opportunity and a great experience. I
will do my best to represent Westfall the best it can be done. I thank
them for this chance to be involved in the Circleville Pumpkin Show."
