At Amanda Clearcreek, Tara is a varsity football cheerleader, varsity basketball cheerleader, a member of FFA, Varsity Club and Fellowship of Christian students and Athletes. She also does volunteer work.

After high school, she plans to attend college and get a degree in elementary education.

She would invite the creator of the Pumpkin Show, Mayor George Howell. She would like for him to see how much his creation has grown. She thinks he would be amazed to see how many people love and enjoy the Pumpkin Show.

Her most enjoyable Pumpkin Show experience was in 1991, when she was in the Little Miss Pumpkin Show contest.
