Allie Burbacher, 16, Circleville High School junior - Allie is the
daughter of Scot and Cindi Burbacher of Circleville.
At Circleville, Allie is or has been involved in varsity soccer,
varsity track, student council, Key Club, Service Over Self, Tiger
Tracks staff, Red and Black Staff, symphonic choir, swing choir,
Pickaway honors choir and the school musical. She is also a Fellowship
of Christian Athletes leader, an office assistant, assistant prom
chairman for the junior class and active in her church youth group.
After high school, she plans to attend college and go into the field of
law.
If she could invite anyone to the Pumpkin Show, she would invite
President George W. Bush. She feels that he has been under a tremendous
amount of stress this past month and she thinks it would lift his
spirits to be in such a festive and carefree atmosphere. "Our caring and
community coming together every year is a great tradition that everyone
can appreciate," she said.
Her most enjoyable Pumpkin Show experience occurred 10 years ago when
she was chosen as Little Miss Pumpkin Show. "I loved every minute of
it," she said. "I couldn't wait to get on the float every afternoon and
evening. I really enjoyed going to all the different festivals to
represent the Circleville Pumpkin Show. It was an experience I'll never
forget."
