Cassi Slone, 16, Amanda Clearcreek High School junior- Cassi is the daughter of Larry and Valeda Slone of Amanda.

At Amanda-Clearcreek Cassi is or has been involved with Fellowship of Christian Students and Athletes, member and current vice president of student council, FFA, past class officer, foreign language club, science club and HOBY leadership conference attendee. She is active in her church youth group at Fairfield Christian Church.

After high school Cassi plans to attend a four-year university and study psychology.

If she could invite anyone to the Pumpkin Show she would bring her grandmother who passed away when she was in the fourth grade. She loved to take my sister and I to festivals, fairs and amusement parks, any place that there were rides to ride and food to eat. I know she would have been proud to watch me represent my school.

Cassi¹s first Pumpkin Show memory is from when she was 5 years old. She rode through the Saturday evening visiting queens¹ parade on the float of a local festival. In recent years she has enjoyed cheering for the Amanda-Clearcreek representative in the Miss Pumpkin Show contest. She said it is fun to be in the crowd and see the area students in one spot being supportive and enthusiastic about their school.
