Jessica Link, 17, Westfall High School junior - Jessica is the daughter of Sharon Link of Orient and the late Steven Day.

Her school activities include football cheerleading, basketball, softball, prom committee, Big Brother/Big Sister, Stamp, student council, leadership program. Her church activities include the Ladies Youth League, babysat for the nursery, confirmation. Her community activities include being a mentor for children with special needs.

She plans to attend college and hope to get accepted into med-school.

She would invite her great aunt who lives in New Hampshire. She has heard many great things about the Pumpkin Show, but never has been able to attend. This year would be extra special if she could come to the Pumpkin Show because, she would be able to cheer her on as I represent my class from Westfall High School. The first thing she would show her is the large pumpkin pie which is always on attraction at the Pumpkin Show.

Her first memory of the Pumpkin Show is marching with her junior high band and being overwhelmed by the enormous crowd. After marching they stayed to cheer on our candidates for Pumpkin Show Queen. Then her friends and she went to see the towering pyramid of pumpkins. She couldn’t believe how large the winning pumpkin was. At that Pumpkin Show she tried her first taste of pumpkin ice cream and now it is her favorite flavor.
