2005 Pumpkin Show Queen's Farewell |
![]() |
I can not even begin to express how honored I am to have had the
incredible opportunity to represent Circleville and promote the 100th
Anniversary of the Pumpkin Show. My reign as the 2005 Pumpkin Show would not
have been possible without the members of the Pumpkin Show committee and the
Sunrise Rotary. I would like to thank them for all their hard work and
dedication to make "The Greatest Free Show on Earth" a huge success. I want
to thank the many businesses for giving such wonderful gifts to us last
year.
This past year Ashley, Ashton and I have traveled throughout Ohio meeting many wonderful people. Thank you both for allowing me to be myself, I have had a fantastic time laughing and making memories with you both that will last forever. To our chaperone, Linda Ballou, I appreciate your dedication in making sure that we were always informed and on time to the festivals. I want to thank you for a wonderful year and for putting in so much time to travel with us. You are a special person and I will miss you. Last but certainly not least, I want to thank my family and friends for supporting me every step of the way. I love you all so much! I will always cherish the memories of the 2005 Pumpkin Show. Thank you Zane Trace Class of 2006 for making my dream come true. I am looking forward to the amazing things happening this year. I have enjoyed watching the progress on the mural being painted in downtown Circleville. I am very excited about the OSU marching band coming to perform in the parade. I am grateful to be involved in the past Pumpkin Show Queens activities on Saturday. Meeting many of the queens will be very special to me. Congratulations and best wishes to the incoming Queen and her court. You will have an amazing year! - Courtney Congrove
