Ashlee Layne Strickler, 17, Amanda-Clearcreek High School junior - Ashlee is the daughter of Krista Strickler of Stoutsville and Virgil Strickler of Gahanna.

Ashlee is a Varsity Cheerleader for football and basketball, a member of the Science Club, Varsity Club, Drama Club, Foreign Language Club, Fellowship of Christian Students and the school Theater Program. She is involved with the Circleville Nazarene Youth Group and Mission Team.

Her plans after high school are to attend a major university and receive a degree in dentistry.

Ashlee would like invite her friend Azusa Toma to the Pumpkin Show, she lives in Japan and was an exchange student that attended Amanda-Clearcreek last year. She was amazed at all the events, parades, and the food that was part of the festival and said if she was still in the US she would win Miss Pumpkin Show.

One of her favorite memories of Pumpkin Show is coming with her mother and sister, Alyson, at an early age to meet friends, ride the rides all day and stay to watch the parade at night - it was like a vacation in the middle of the week!
