Kara Lee Valentine, 17, Circleville High School junior - Kara is the daughter of Cindy and Don Valentine of Circleville.

Kara's activities include Varsity Softball and Varsity Cheerleader. She is Junior Class Prom Chairman, Secretary of Key Club and President of Teen Institute. Kara is also involved with STAMP, Student Council, Red and Black/Tiger Tracks Staff and is a Renaissance Gold Card holder. She was the 2003 Freshman Homecoming attendant and a member of the 2005 Central Ohio Stingrays Softball team. She is a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.

Kara's plans after high school are to attend college and major in veterinary medicine.

If she could invite anyone to the Pumpkin Show, she would invite as many children as she possibly could that survived the disasters of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. It would be nice to take them on rides and treat them to cotton candy and a corn dog, so they could experience a great amount of fun and relaxation, something they have recently lost in their own hometowns.

Kara's favorite memory of Pumpkin Show was her seventh birthday when she rode in the 1995 Little Miss Pumpkin Show Parade.
