Megan Underhill, 17, Amanda-Clearcreek High School senior - Megan is the
daughter of Terry and Gail Underhill-Kohler of Amanda and Sam and Joyce
Brown-Underhill of Kingston.
Megan's activities at Amanda-Clearcreek are FFA-committee chairperson
for student development during the 2005 school year, varsity football and
basketball cheerleader and captain of football cheerleading squad, varsity
club member, student council representative for the senior class, and
teacher's assistant. She is also a nine-year member of the Four Seasons 4-H
club and past secretary, helped organize a Katrina relief benefit concert
and she babysits her aunt's two small children on a regular basis.
After high school she plans to attend the Ohio University-Chillicothe
Nursing program and major in surgery technology and receive an RN.
If Megan could invite a person to the Pumpkin Show she would invite
Mika, a foreign exchange student from Kazikstan at AC. In her country they
do not have festivals or celebrations like Pumpkin Show and she would like
the opportunity to share the excitement of the 100th Pumpkin Show
celebration with her. It would also be a fun way to get to know her by
watching her experience something for the first time.
Her favorite memory of the Pumpkin Show is way back in 1995 when she was
in the first grade and competed in the Little Miss Pumpkin Show and made it
in the top five. It was such a memorable and exciting experience!
