Kristen Walters, 17, Circleville High School junior - Kristen is the daughter of Richard and Michele Walters of Circleville.

At Circleville, Kristen is involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Teen Institute, Student Council, Key Club, Swing Choir, the Stay Tobacco-Free Athlete Mentor Program (STAMP), and St. Joseph's youth group. She is the junior class president, co-editor of the school newspaper and a 12-year member of the Saddle and Sirloin 4-H club. She also plays volleyball and runs track.

After high school she plans to attend a four-year university and major in communications.

Kristen would like to invite her grandma to the Pumpkin Show because she was born and raised in Los Angles and has never been to the Pumpkin Show. She thinks it would be great for her to experience how much fun our small town's 100 year tradition really is.

Her favorite memory of Pumpkin Show was when her cousin brought his girlfriend to the Pumpkin Show and her family tricked her into participating in the hog-calling contest. She ended up winning third place.
