Liz Adkins, 17, Teays Valley High School senior - Liz is the daughter of Troy and Shari Adkins of Orient.

Liz's activities include being a varsity football cheerleader and a 4-year FFA member. She also works with children in daycare and is employed at Polo Tan in Grove City. She is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and attends the Commercial Point United Methodist Church.

Upon graduation she plans to attend a 4-year college and major in nursing.

Liz would invite our veterans and war heroes across the seas to the Pumpkin Show. She feels they would not only love to be able to eat all great Pumpkin Show food, but to be able to spend time with their loved ones who she is sure they miss very much.

Her favorite memory of the Pumpkin Show would be riding through the parade when she was younger and in girl scouts with her three best friends. Even today the three of us ride together in the parade for cheerleading. We have so much fun together and enjoy eating our traditional stromboli.
